Apart from the cinema, resturants and bowling, where else indoors is good for taking a date?

Ha, this is just like a Family Feud/Fortunes question.

I wish arcades were still a thing.

My Dear Melancholy,

This is a list of where my boyfriend takes me. Hope the list ain't obscure.

-Indoor Pool
-Skating
-The Mall
-Museums
-Get your nails and feet done
-Relax in your house

And my favorite, that can only be done in the winter. It's a bit cliché so...you're probably going to roll your eyes.

Watching the snow fall onto the crowd making everything white. Then as you watch the couple cuddles on the bed.

She won't talk about her private life with me yet. I don't even know where she works or studies. The second date might earn me more trust so that she will open up more.

Haunted House (Again only if you want her to want you to hold her and comfort her, but if not, that's cool, enjoy not touching her)

Laser Tag/Paint Ball (If she's athletic/a ninja, if not then don't waste your time and dump her now lol)

Wine bar if you two are of age (Sophisticated, but not quite a resturant, great way to loosen them up a bit and get the hotties talking)

The Theatre (Moderately pricey, but you know if it's worth it.)

Skating (Suck it up Pel, learn to skate, she'll probably think it's cute. You'll fall on your a*** but you're young and you'll recover, and two she'll have a reason to hold your hand or waist, so yeah, go from there.)

Shooting Range (Please tell me you can shoot a damn gun. Give you a reason to stand behind her and adjust her form. Again, mandatory touching that isn't perverted and gets her comfortable with the idea. Wink wink, nudge nudge)

Basketball, or Lacrosse, Futbol, or whatever. (Sporting event. There's food, you don't have to stare at each other the whole time, she gets out of her zone and you see what happens, adrenaline, alcohol, and you're watching sports! Worst case of things aren't going well you have cheerleaders to stare at)

Wrestling/UFC (Again where it gets pricey, but same thing as sports, it's a bunch of shirtless muscly dudes in tights, then a bunch of bust athletic women in tights, if she even remotely thinks you have any muscle under that nerdy physique afterwards then she's taking you home to do some wrestling tok. Did I mention the beer flows freely?)

Concert (Classical, Hazz, Rock, music is a universal language. If you don know what type of music she likes, figure it out! If you do, find a band or a symphony that stirs up some emotions, connect with this woman!)

This stuff works, I have the infant at home to prove it lol.

No but seriously, if you don't like these then this:

1. Where the hell do you live where there isn't a thing to do?
1a. How did you meet this girl in the first place?
1b. The hell is this pretty girl a secret? If she's a keeper, don't hide her. If she's a Super Freak, well I'd still keep her around

Oh speakin of Rick James, take her Dancing (I somehow know that you can't dance ad frankly I don't care, watch the first half hour of Hitch with Will Smith and you'll know all you need to know. She will do all the actual dancing!)

1c. Older Cougar Hottie? Younger college hottie? Or girl next door? Depending on who it is, do something based on that.

2. If you say no to all these, then don't ask us again, you are clearly not trying to win this wonderful girls heart lol.

3. Have fun, don't do something you don't like to do. If you do then she'll think you love doing it and you're screwed for life. Reserve things that you hate for birthdays, anniversaries and holidays.

Other wise, best of luck Pelador my man!

A lot of those options are expensive. Plus I don't think that she's into sports. Yeah I can't fire a gun and I don't know how she handles loud noises or crowds. This sounds really dorky but originally I wanted to take her on a pretend treasure hunt. There's loads of cool woods and stuff around here where we could fight orcs and s***. But the weather's been awful. I actually met her in the woods whilst doing that exact thing.

I keep her a secret because it saves my mother trying to stick her nose in and I don't have to listen to unwanted advice all the time. It's much quieter this way.

There's plenty of things to do where I live but I have to be mindful of the weather, price and convenient times for both of us.

Theatre
Cinema
Ice Rink
Tons of resturants and bars/pubs/nightclubs
Art gallery
Golf course
Lots of woods and meadows
Laughably tiny shopping mall.
Football stadium
Casinos
The Barbican

Now out of these we can rule out all the outdoor activities because the weather sucks and will continue to do so until next year. That leaves.

Theatre
Ice rink
Cinema
Resturants ect
Art gallery
Shopping mall
Casinos

You know whilst sitting here typing these lists it occured to me that I actually really like art. Now I need to wait and see if she does to. I'll do the art gallery followed by a burger king or something. You see it has to be something during the day and not on a weekend and can't take too long.

Any other suggestions are welcome.

I agree with laser tag and the shooting range. Also if you have an indoor race track, that's awesome as well.

Theatre/Cinema is a mixed bag from experience. Have coffee and a lengthy chat before the movie otherwise you sit there for 2-3 hours with no real opportunity to talk. That can be a bit awkward, especially if you don't know the girl particularly well. I prefer a little Japanese restaurant down the road. The lighting is really good with candles and all that romantic s***. Only a short walk to most of the bars/clubs in town, too.

Gohan is right, do not take her to Burger King for any reason on a second date. I will jump out of the computer and backhand you like I'm Kat Williams.

Jet is also right. Cute little hole in the wall Resturant before or after the gallery (Damn good pick Pel, I'm proud of you man) would be good. They usually aren't too expensive, have better food, and a decent atmosphere. And you'll have time to talk and the option to have a glass of wine or a pint with dinner. Again, enough to loosen her up and drop some inhibitions, not get her sloppy and nearly passing out. Good class, do it with style man! Economical looks smart and sophisticated, cheap looks bad. I know it sucks being a college student, but until you graduate and have your degree and all that, she knows that it's not gonna be Wolfgang Pucks or Gordon Ramsey's every weekend, it's cool. Burger King is a week night, we both got off way late from work and refuse to put on anything but sweats thing for when you're together. But yeah, go get her!

Take her someplace that isn't predictable. Surprise her. Wow her with your ingenuity and on the spot thinking. Show her your guns!

In my experience, women like when you know what you're doing. They don't like the "uhhh what do YOU wanna do" runaround.

For the first few dates, I would stick to basic places like restaurants and coffee shops. That gives you enough time to actually get to know the other person before jumping into activities that may be awkward otherwise.

My girlfriend and I didn't really have a first "date." We met up at Whataburger one day, drove around for a bit, and walked down the river. That gave us a ton of time to talk and get to know each other. I wouldn't want to go to a movie, play paintball, or do any of those other activities with someone that I barely know. Awkwardness will always ensue.

What's wrong with a burger king after an hour of walking around an art gallery. It's cheap, it's quick and I can have the same conversation I would have if I took her to a real restaurant. Don't forget, everything needs to be done in an afternoon to avoid too much suspicion. Plus I don't want anything too unusual popping up on my bank statement.

As long as she's okay with it then there's nothing wrong with it. To be honest you're better off just asking her what she wants to do than asking strangers who don't know the girl what they think she wants to do.
